Book your flight you little lazy! Flights from
Manila, Philippines (MNL) to Iloilo City, Philippines (ILO)

By plane, it takes approximately 1 hour from Manila, about 30 minutes from Cebu, and 1 hour from Davao. The new airport of Iloilo is located approximately 30 minutes away from Iloilo City. This time I'm flying with Cebu Pacific... yes! I got me a promo fare! Check their site now: www.cebupacificair.com. So going back to the airport, it's quite new, talk about one of the best looking airports in the country!

If you're coming from outside the Philippines. It's best to check with your airline if they've got directs flights to Iloilo. If not, you may opt to get a flight to Manila, Cebu or Davao instead then fly from there to Iloilo. This site may help you if your airline of choice flies directly to Manila or Iloilo: SkyScanner

Okay! Say you've successfully booked your flight to Manila-Iloilo. Pack your stuff and you're now heading to Iloilo.

Once you arrive in Iloilo, shuttle services to and from the airport are available with drop off and pick up points at SM City Iloilo, then take the cab afterwards and let them know of your chosen hotel/pension house/inn. You may also take a cab that can take you to any point in Iloilo/Panay or to the airport if you're coming from the city.

It's best to book or stay somewhere within the City Proper for easy access to the event and places to go in the city. You'll find hotels, motels and inns/pension houses for your accomodation. Book early if you don't want to miss out on rooms especially during the festival.

Dinagyang Festival 2013

I'm telling you, during this time, rooms sell like hotcakes fast.... really fast. I stayed at 3 different hotels last time because they had no vacancy for the rest of my stay... and I unfortunately spent a fortune. ha ha.

Once you're all settled, time for you to explore and tour around the city. I don't know about you guys, but I totally fell in love with Iloilo, that's why I just keep coming back. See you guys around!
