Panagbenga Festival 2015, Baguio City





The Panagbenga is annually celebrated in Baguio City whereas the opening is always the 1st of February and closing is the 3rd of March, though normally it closes on the Sunday of the first week of March.


It will be all up to you if you'd like to stay that long, but I'd prefer seeing the main events since I can't really be out of office that long... gotta work you know 
So the events that I look forward to seeing: Street Parade/Dance, Grand Float Parade, Session in Bloom and fireworks display which falls on the last weekend of February up to the first week of March.

Anyway enough of my blabbing, here's the schedule of Main activities for the 2015 Panagbenga Festival

Feb. 1 - Opening Ceremonies and Street Dancing Parade Competition (Drum and Lyre Dance Competition – Elementary Division)

Panagbenga Festival is just one of the many things that you should consider when visiting the city. They have lots of activities for your visit. You may do biking and boating in Burnham Park, visit spots like Wright Park (Horseback), Tam-Awan Village, Mines View Park, The Mansion, Camp John Hay, Bencab Museum, etc. And of course when it comes to chow-time, they've got nice restaurants and food places like Oh My Gulay, Cafe by the Ruins, Hill Station, Ketchup Community etc.
