Batangas is just located south of Luzon. Nearby provinces are Laguna, Cavite, Quezon and Mindoro. This is one of the favorite getaways of residents in the metro and some foreign tourists as it only takes approximately 2-3 hours driving.
Getting here was not really that hard for us, coz we were able to rent a van that could accommodate up to 18 people for our team building. We decided to stay at the Casa Remo Resort in Laiya Batangas. Normally it would take up to 3 hours to get to batangas. Unfortunately, Laiya was like a 5 hour drive from Manila. Had we known that it would take that long we should've chosen a different place to stay.
After the excruciating 5 hour butt ride, we arrived at the resort. It was more than what we've expected. The staff we're very accomodating, helped us with our stuff, prepared the kitchen and even started cooking the food for us (normally during team buildings, WE would be cooking).
