Panagbenga 2014 Schedule of Activities


Panagbenga is annually celebrated in Baguio City whereas the opening is always the 1st of February and closing is the 3rd of March 2014, though normally it closes on the Sunday of the first week of March.

It will be all up to you if you'd like to stay that long, but I'd prefer seeing the main events since I can't really be out of office that long...

Baguio + Flowers = Panagbenga Festival 2014

One of the grandest festivals held during February in the Summer Capital of the Philippines, Baguio. The festival includes street dancing with performers clad in flower-inspired costumes and floats decorated with flowers of different shapes and sizes. This event also helps the younger generation of indigenous people to rediscover their culture and tradition. It also serves as a tribute to the ever beautiful flowers of Baguio City and as a way of rising to the 1990 Luzon earthquake devastation.

Boracay by Akcent ft. Sandra...?

Now, I don't know If you've seen the music video or even heard the song. I dont even know if the song is really about the party island "BORACAY". Have yet to confirm that. Though, what are your thoughts on this?
